The Dripping Springs Tigers basketball team (Dripping Springs, TX), was nudged 35-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX)

The Chargers now possess a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tivy for a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Boerne-Champion will battle a Antlers team coming off a 60-39 league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Antlers record now stands at 13-10.

The Tigers (15-12) will now prepare for their battle against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Mules come into the 5A Region IV District 26 battle with a 16-11 record. In their last battle, Alamo Heights edged Lockhart (Lockhart, TX), 68-15, in a league battle.
