October 3, 2011: Hannibal, MO 63401 Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO) backers left the game content Monday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, KS), 2-0 in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Pirates battle the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 6. Hannibal will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Bruins go into the contest with a 20-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Howell Central (St. Charles, MO).
With the loss, Troy moves to 0-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Atchison County (Effingham, KS) to battle the Tigers in a Delaware Valley contest on Tuesday, October 4.
