Minnesota High School Basketball - FAIR Downtown overwhelms Edina
February 12, 2010: Minneapolis, MN Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the FAIR Downtown Falcon (Minneapolis, MN) and the visiting Edina Hornets (Edina, MN), saw FAIR Downtown's basketball squad trounce Edina by a score of 71-33.
With the victory, FAIR Downtown improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Falcon travel to North Metro (Oak Grove, MN) to battle the Blazers in a Freelance challenge on Monday, February 15. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. North Metro won 89-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Vessey Leadership Academy (West St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Hornets battle the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a Classic Lake challenge, on Tuesday, February 16. Edina will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 74-63 league loss to Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN).
