California High School Basketball - Los Altos nips Mountain View
January 31, 2015: Mountain View, CA 94040 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) and the host Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA), saw Los Altos's basketball squad hold off Mountain View by a count of 41-38.
With the victory, Los Altos upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA) to play the Vikings in a De Anza challenge on Friday, February 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Palo Alto won 59-49 in their recent league challenge against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a El Camino challenge, on Tuesday, February 3. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 53-35 league loss to Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA).
