The Locust Grove Pirates baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Tahlequah Tigers to 2 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pirates (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Jay (Jay, OK). The Bulldogs go into the Verdigris Valley match with a 15-13 record. In their last match, Jay gained a win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK), 13-2, in a non-league match.
