River Ridge Knights /Royal (New Port Richey, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sunlake Seahawks (Land O'Lakes, FL), 55-22 in a league bout.

With the win, River Ridge upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Knights /Royal travel to Hernando (Brooksville, FL) to play the Leopards in a 4A District 8 bout on Friday, January 15. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Hernando lost 72-50 in their recent non-league bout against Wildwood (Wildwood, FL)

Next up, the Seahawks play the Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 14. Sunlake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
