Michigan High School Basketball - Traverse City West knocked off by Saline
January 6, 2018: Saline, MI 48176 The Saline Hornets basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Traverse City West Titans to 36 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bedford for a Southeastern - Red contest on Friday, January 12. Saline will battle a Kicking Mules team coming off a 70-31 league win over Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 6-3.
The Titans (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats enter the Big North contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Alpena ran past Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
