Iowa High School Basketball - IKM/Manning overwhelms Charter Oak-Ute
December 5, 2008: Manilla, IA Fans at Friday's league challenge between the IKM/Manning Hawks (Manilla, IA) and the visiting Charter Oak-Ute Bobcats (Charter Oak, IA), saw IKM/Manning's basketball squad trounce Charter Oak-Ute by a score of 78-39.
With the victory, IKM/Manning improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Southern Cal (Lake City, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bobcats play the Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto Rams (Mapleton, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 8. Charter Oak-Ute will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 78-21 league win over Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA).
