California High School Basketball - California School for the Deaf nudges Indiana School for the Deaf
January 17, 2009: Fremont, CA 94538 In Saturday's non-league outing, the California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 41-39.
The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA). The Warriors go into the Bay Counties outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Fremont Christian got by Immaculate Conception (San Francisco, CA), 44-33, in a non-league outing.
The Deaf Hoosiers now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a Freelance outing on Tuesday, January 20. Indiana School for the Deaf will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 45-34 league win over International (Indianapolis, IN). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.
