Furr Brahmans (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), 60-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Furr upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Brahmans travel to Northside (Houston, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-14.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Northside Panthers (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 bout, on Saturday, January 27. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record.
