Texas High School Football - Cooper sneaks past Frenship
September 16, 2016: Wolfforth, TX 79382 The Cooper Cougars football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Frenship Tigers to 25 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a non-league battle on Friday, September 23. Cooper will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-21 non-league loss to Westlake (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
Coming up next, the Tigers face the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 battle, on Friday, September 23. Frenship will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 55-12 non-league win over Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY).
