California High School Basketball - Alhambra holds off Miramonte
January 20, 2018: Martinez, CA 94553 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) and the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), saw Alhambra's basketball squad hold off Miramonte by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Alhambra improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Concord (Concord, CA) to confront the Minutemen in a challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.
Next up, the Matadors confront the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Miramonte will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 51-43 non-league loss to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).
