Arizona High School Soccer - Washington held off by Apollo
December 9, 2011: Phoenix, AZ 85021 The Apollo Hawks held off the host Washington Rams soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Hawks now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Peoria for a II Section I match on Monday, December 12. Apollo will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Washington drops to 1-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Chiefs in a II Section III match on Monday, December 12. The Chiefs come into the match with a record of 4-1. Thunderbird 1-1 in their recent non-league match against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ)
