North Carolina High School Basketball - Word of God Christian Academy trounces Lexington
February 2, 2013: Raleigh, NC 27610 The Word of God Christian Academy Rams (Raleigh, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 83-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Macdonald Academy (Red Springs, NC). The Cougars go into the NCISAA Southeastern test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Macdonald Academy was trounced by Huntington Prep (Huntington, WV), 66-44, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Davidson for a 2A Central Carolina contest on Tuesday, February 5. Lexington will battle a Dragons team coming off a 58-48 league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 6-13.
