Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) and the host Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA), saw Leland's basketball squad knock off Oak Grove by a count of 54-44.

With the victory, Leland upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Prospect (Saratoga, CA) to play the Panthers in a challenge on Friday, January 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Prospect won 48-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA)
