The Delta Eagles basketball team (Muncie, IN), was nudged 50-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN)

The Patriots now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayne for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 9. Jay County will battle a Generals team coming off a 72-65 league win over South Side (Fort Wayne, IN). The Generals record now stands at 11-7.
