Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) and the visiting Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS), saw McPherson's basketball squad knock off Heights by a score of 59-50.

With the victory, McPherson improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bullpups travel to East (Shawnee Mission, KS) to battle the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 19. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. East won 48-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS)

Next up, the Falcons battle the Blue Valley West Jaguars (Stilwell, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 19. Heights will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 48-36 non-league loss to East (Shawnee Mission, KS).
