California High School Basketball - Sheldon nudges Archbishop Mitty

Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), 79-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sheldon upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA) to clash with the Gauchos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 8. The Gauchos go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 10. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA).
