The Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) basketball felled the host Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors (Northport, AL), 65-52 in Friday's non-league test.

The Golden Tornadoes (14-4) will now prepare for their test against West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region 5 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, West Jones thwarted Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS), 55-52, in a league test.
