Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars battle the Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 31. Escalon will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Denair (Denair, CA).

The Buffaloes now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Modesto Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1. Amador will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Gustine (Gustine, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
