Kentucky High School Basketball - Rowan County knocked off by Paul Laurence Dunbar
December 27, 2016: Lexington, KY 40513 The Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Rowan County Vikings to 48 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyd County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Paul Laurence Dunbar will battle a Lions team coming off a 68-63 non-league loss to North Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Lions record now stands at 7-1.
The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Ashland Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats go into the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Ashland Blazer topped Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY), 69-55, in a non-league bout.
