South Dakota High School Football - Crow Creek overwhelmed by Red Cloud
October 6, 2006: Stephan, SD 57346 Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad crush the host Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 41-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bennett County for a West River challenge on Friday, October 13. Red Cloud will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 28-7 non-league win over Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Crow Creek moves to 2-4 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD) to battle the Thorpes in a non-league test on Friday, October 13. The Thorpes come into the test with a record of 3-3. Pine Ridge lost 14-6 in their recent league test against Little Wound (Kyle, SD)
