Maryland High School Basketball - Long Reach topples South Carroll
February 15, 2019: Sykesville, MD 21784 In Friday's non-league outing, the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) basketball squad beat the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), by a count of 53-36.
The Lightning (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Lions go into the Howard County outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Howard defeated Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 47-32, in a league outing.
The Cavaliers now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a Carroll County outing on Friday, February 22.
