Game Summary
Sandra Feld has 2 shots on goal and Ali Wolf also had a shot. Excellent defense by Vanessa Bursztyn and Maya Cohen, both girls hustled and put pressure on the ball and used their bodies to block shots. Denisse Gampel played great in goal coming out and being aggressive for the ball and stopping 3 breakaways. The score doesn't reflect the way the girls played today. We were missing a few key players and our younger girls did a great job of stepping up and into those positions. We had a few chances that we didn't finish, but our overall style of play was something to be proud of. The girls in the midfield we making runs and overlapping with our forwards, we picked up our quickness of play and our defense was quickly clearing the ball out. We just need to keep our heads up, continue working together and keep communicating!
