Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Covington Lions (Covington, LA), 8-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sulphur upgrades its record to 30-10 on the season. The Golden Tors host St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, May 4. The Gators come into the test with a record of 21-11. St. Amant won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Bourgeois (Gray, LA)

With the defeat, Covington falls to 21-18 on the season.
