The Lexington School for the Deaf basketball team scored 36 points and held the host New York School for the Deaf Golden Tornadoes to 28 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit for a PSAL Area Freelance contest on Monday, February 26. Lexington School for the Deaf will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 36-8 league win over Lowell (Flushing, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.

The Golden Tornadoes (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against American School for the Deaf (West Hartford, CT). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, American School for the Deaf was defeated by Rhode Island School for the Deaf (Providence, RI), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
