Maryland High School Football - Northwest sneaks past Seneca Valley
September 20, 2013: Germantown, MD 20874 The Northwest Jaguars football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles to 13 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Friday.
The Jaguars now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaithersburg for a Montgomery County 4A - West battle on Saturday, September 28. Northwest will face a Trojans squad coming off a 24-7 league win over Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
Coming up next, the Screamin' Eagles face the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 27. Seneca Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Barons go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 24-0 league loss to Whitman (Bethesda, MD).
