Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - East Catholic held off by Cheshire
January 30, 2016: Manchester, CT 06042 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) ice hockey team nudged the host East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT), by a margin of 1-0.
The Rams now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amity Regional for a Southern Connecticut - DII challenge on Wednesday, February 3. Cheshire will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 3-9.
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT). The Tomahawks enter the Central Connecticut - North challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Glastonbury was edged by South Windsor (South Windsor, CT), 2-1, in a league challenge.
