Illinois High School Basketball - Palatine can't hold off Hersey
January 4, 2011: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 The Hersey Huskies basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Palatine Pirates to 54 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prospect for a Mid-Suburban - East match on Friday, January 7. Hersey will confront a Knights team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.
With the defeat, Palatine moves to 1-9 on the year. The Pirates host Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to confront the Cougars in a Mid-Suburban - West match on Friday, January 7. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 9-3. Conant won 58-46 in their recent non-league match against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL)
