September 11, 2015: Sewell, NJ 08080 In Friday's league game, the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) football team knocked off the host Washington Township Minutemen (Sewell, NJ), by a final score of 33-13.
The Chiefs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ). The Chargers come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Timber Creek Regional toppled Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ), 62-6, in a league game.
The Minutemen now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammonton for a non-league game on Friday, September 18.
