The Parkview Baptist Eagles got by the visiting Zachary Broncos softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (23-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Comets go into the non-league battle with a 19-4 record. In their last battle, St. Charles Catholic nudged De La Salle (New Orleans, LA), 3-2, in a league battle.
