October 13, 2018: Scottsbluff, NE 69361 The Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) volleyball overcame the host Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Columbus upgrades its record to 13-13 on the year. The Discoverers travel to Gering (Gering, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a B District 8 outing on Saturday, October 13. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 15-14. Gering won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE)
The Bearcats now own a 4-22 record. They play next when they travel to Alliance for a B District 8 outing on Tuesday, October 16. Scottsbluff will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Valentine (Valentine, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-4.
