Florida High School Softball - Braden River bounces Academy of the Holy Names
April 15, 2011: Bradenton, FL 34203 Braden River Pirates (Bradenton, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars (Tampa, FL), 17-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jupiter for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. Braden River will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Chamberlain (Tampa, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 20-4.
With the loss, Academy of the Holy Names falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 18-6. Bishop Verot lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Jupiter (Jupiter, FL)
