The Star City Bulldogs football team (Star City, AR), was beaten 24-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Central Cougars (West Helena, AR)

The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Crossett (Crossett, AR). The Eagles come into the 4A Region 8 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Crossett was beaten by Hamburg (Hamburg, AR), 21-6, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeWitt for a 4A Region 8 challenge on Friday, October 26. Star City will meet a Dragons team coming off a 42-6 league loss to Dumas (Dumas, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 3-5.
