North Carolina High School Football - Sun Valley routs Anson

The Sun Valley Spartans football squad scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Anson Bearcats to 14 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, September 7.

Coming up next, the Bearcats face the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 31. Anson will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 27-19 non-league loss to Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC).
