October 21, 2016: Hazard, KY 41701 In Friday's league match, the visiting Harlan County Black Bears football squad scored a good 74-49 victory over the Perry County Central Commodores.
In their next game, the Black Bears clash with the Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 28. Harlan County will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 68-44 league win over Jackson County (McKee, KY).
The Commodores (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Briar Jumpers enter the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Somerset ran past Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY), 48-11, in a league match.
