New Mexico High School Football - Taos trounces Pojoaque Valley

October 26, 2018: Taos, NM 87571

In Friday's league bout, the host Taos Tigers football squad scored a big 50-0 victory over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a 4A District 2/5 bout, on Friday, November 2. Taos will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 6-3 record after their 28-7 league loss to Grants (Grants, NM).

The Elks/Elkettes (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils enter the 4A District 2/5 bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Espanola Valley was overwhelmed by St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 49-0, in a league bout.
