May 7, 2012: Lansdale, PA 19446 North Penn Knights (Lansdale, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Germantown Academy Patriots (Fort Washington, PA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Penn upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Knights host Quakertown (Quakertown, PA) to battle the Panthers in a Suburban One - Continental test on Tuesday, May 8. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-10.
With the defeat, Germantown Academy falls to 14-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA) to battle the Quakers in a Inter-Academic test on Tuesday, May 8. The Quakers come into the test with a record of 20-5. William Penn Charter won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA)
