New York High School Basketball - Kellenberg Memorial winner over Freeport
January 15, 2018: Freeport, NY 11520 The Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) basketball felled the host Freeport Red Devils (Freeport, NY), 56-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Firebirds (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY). The Titans go into the Catholic Nassau Suffolk test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Holy Trinity was beaten by St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY), 69-60, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Farmingdale for a Section 8 AA-1 test on Wednesday, January 17.
