Omaha South Packers (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE), 82-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Omaha South upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Packers travel to Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Rockets in a A District TBD bout on Saturday, January 10. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Lincoln Northeast won 73-50 in their recent league bout against North Star (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Saturday, January 10. Bryan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 68-54 league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE).
