January 29, 2010: Troy, MI 48098 In Friday's non-league outing, the Brother Rice Warriors (Bloomfield Hills, MI) basketball squad edged the host Troy Colts (Troy, MI), by a count of 63-58.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets go into the Catholic Central outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, St. Mary Prep was tipped by Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI), 73-50, in a non-league outing.
The Colts now hold a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Orion for a Oakland - White outing on Tuesday, February 2. Troy will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 47-38 league win over Adams (Rochester, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 7-5.
