Tennessee High School Basketball - Loretto holds off Mt. Pleasant
January 3, 2009: Loretto, TN 38469 Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN), 53-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Loretto upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Summertown (Summertown, TN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Summertown lost 94-86 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Hill (Columbia, TN)
Next up, the Tigers play the Richland Raiders (Lynnville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 5. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 71-41 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TN).
