Virginia High School Basketball - Millbrook winner over Spotswood
December 29, 2016: Penn Laird, VA 22846 The Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) basketball felled the host Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA), 55-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Handley (Winchester, VA). The Judges go into the 4A Conference 21A test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Handley thwarted Orange County (Orange, VA), 52-47, in a non-league test.
The Trailblazers now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Waynesboro for a 3A Conference 29 bout on Tuesday, January 3. Spotswood will clash with a Little Giants squad coming off a 55-21 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Little Giants record now stands at 3-8.
