Kentucky High School Basketball - Daviess County tipped by Greenwood
December 6, 2011: Owensboro, KY 42303 The Greenwood Gators basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Daviess County Panthers to 56 in the Gators non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Gators now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkins County Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Greenwood will confront a Storm team coming off a 58-50 league win over Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Storm record now stands at 1-4.
The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the District 9 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Apollo nudged Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY), 76-51, in a league contest.
