California High School Softball - St. Ignatius bounces Notre Dame
April 24, 2012: San Francisco, CA 94116 St. Ignatius Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA), 11-1 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Presentation for a West Catholic challenge on Friday, April 27. St. Ignatius will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-10.
With the loss, Notre Dame falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Tigers host Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to face the Monarchs in a West Catholic challenge on Friday, April 27. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a record of 20-2. Archbishop Mitty won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)
