Edmond Santa Fe Wolves (Edmond, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Norman North Timberwolves (Norman, OK), 84-73 in a league bout.

With the win, Edmond Santa Fe upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Deer Creek (Edmond, OK) to play the Antlers in a Central Oklahoma bout on Friday, January 13. The Antlers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Westmoore Jaguars (Oklahoma City, OK) in a Central Oklahoma bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Norman North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 59-49 league win over Moore (Moore, OK).
