In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), by a count of 80-48.

The Lions (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights go into the Beach outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Kellam was crushed by Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA), 57-37, in a league outing.
