Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Conestoga Valley holds off Cocalico
February 3, 2012: Lancaster, PA 17601 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA) and the visiting Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), saw Conestoga Valley's basketball squad hold off Cocalico by a score of 49-46.
With the victory, Conestoga Valley improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Buckskins host Lebanon (Lebanon, PA) to play the Cedars in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Cedars come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Lebanon lost 77-66 in their recent league challenge against Solanco (Quarryville, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Cocalico will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 58-43 league loss to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA).
