January 30, 2016: East Brunswick, NJ 08816 In Saturday's non-league outing, the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ), by a count of 49-28.
The Bears (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ). The Falcons go into the Greater Middlesex - Red outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph smashed Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ), 70-63, in a league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Pinelands Regional for a Shore B - South outing on Monday, February 1. Manchester Township will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-42 league win over Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-10.
