North Carolina High School Soccer - Concord knocks off A.L. Brown
August 29, 2013: Concord, NC 28025 Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spiders confront the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. Concord will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
The Wonders now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 4. A.L. Brown will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
